• “By using this reusable drink container, you can help eliminate the use of more than 100 disposable plastic bottles annually. In the U.S., a total of ~35 billion plastic bottles are disposed of each year. Just 25% of these disposable bottles are recycled. The other 75%, 2.5 billion lbs worth, are sent to land fills where they will take 1,000-4,000 years to degrade! If we reduce, reuse, and recycle this amount of plastic, we could save more than a billion gallons of oil and 44 million cubic yards of landfill space annually.

*What You Missed* Spring Fling: Spring Fling was an awesome campus wide event celebrating a cleaner earth and brighter tomorrow (WITH inflatable castles, of course). We also had live music (and it was really good), free food (and t-shirts), tons of activities (like building birdhouses and making bird feeders), and FREE trees. The ECOs had face painting, a tepee story book time, and Native American head bands. In short, it was friggin’ awesome. We would like to thank all the spectacular ECOs who made all the fun possible: Tiffany, Farah, Matt, Crystal, Amanda, Meghen, Chris, Evelyn, and of course Prof. Devoley (Who not only made the event awesome, but wore an awesome hat while doing so!) I hope I didn’t forget anyone!!

Please don’t hesitate to contact any of us via email for any questions, concerns, or just to say hi!
