Last Meeting – 10/6

Some of the officers had a get together in the commons (blg. A) to discuss ECOs events and what to bring up to the next meeting. Here are a few of our talking points.

1. The possibility of having a health food fundraiser (complete with vegan goodies.)
2. Getting paper bins at least on every level of every building; giving students lots of opportunities to get rid of unwanted papers in an eco-friendly way.
3. Possibly maintaining an on-campus garden, maybe in the memorial garden area.
4. We shared ideas about the up-coming camp out. Ideas for it were: a community art project for students to dedicate themselves to helping the environment, unplugged music (no ipods or electronic devices), food possibilities (pizza, burgers, and vegetarian foods), location (on campus or off), getting a speaker, and activity scheduling. To name a few.
